Welcome to Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament
A Roman Catholic Parish in the Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin.

Feast of Corpus Christi
Join Us
Join Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish for a special celebration on June 7, 2026, as we honor the Feast of Corpus Christi.
The celebration begins at St. Mary Church with a Eucharistic Procession of the Blessed Sacrament around the streets of Fennimore near the church for about an hour, following the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 7. Members pray the rosary, sing songs of worship and offer prayers to honor Our Lord.
Members of the local parish and neighboring parishes join Catholics around the world in celebrating Christ in the Eucharist. The Corpus Christi procession is an outward demonstration of Catholic faith and belief in the Real Presence of the Risen Christ, under the appearance of the Consecrated host to honor Our Lord’s institution of the most Holy Eucharist. These processions enable Christians to give public witness to their faith and give glory to God. It is believed that Corpus Christi processions date back to the 14th century. They are held throughout the world. Processing through the community with the Blessed Sacrament on the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) is a venerable Church tradition. It is one time when Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, not just to faithful Catholics, but to all the world. It is also a wonderful way in which we can show our love for our neighbors by bringing Our Lord and Savior closer to them.
Following the procession, at about noon, a celebration with grilled sandwiches, home-made potato chips, home-baked pies, ice cream, beverages, games, inflatables and music will be enjoyed at the parish lawn across from the church at 960 Jefferson Street in Fennimore. The event includes a raffle with cash prizes, numerous gift certificates and other prizes. Game prizes, raffle gift certificates and silent auction items are donated by parish members for the event.
The Mass, procession, and festival are open to the public. Everyone is welcome to join in the celebration.
